I think the Patchett quote pretty much sums up how I feel about being back here. I can't believe it's been three months since my last post. I've only got my laziness to blame!

Thanks so much for visiting this blog.

Much love,
Ash xx

I always say that it is a far better idea to post when you want to than to force it and feel like blogging is a chore. Welcome back!

I love this photo. As a serial expat, I've had a few opportunities to go back to places I once lived. Time does collapse and I always find it quite haunting.

Lovely presentation Ash! Keep up posting :)

This is a beauty of a photo! Not only does time collapse but things get smaller. Have you noticed when you return to a place you haven't seen in many years it appears to have shrunk?

A fine selected portion of the door for this shot. The flowers and hardware of the door are very interesting.

Hi Ash,
Great to see you back.
Love the photo and quote.

Oh, your comment yesterday made me smile and also chuckle.
If I helped to your coming back I am happy :)

I was looking through a post from 2006 and saw the sweetest comment from you and I thought to myself "I miss Ash"
That is why I left the comment on your previous post.

Just thinking of my childhood home makes that happen in my mind. I hope, when I return there next spring that I will feel that collapse and experience the innocence of the time.
