Stunning color, Ash! Makes me want to sit down and metaphorize. ;-) (I don't think that's a word!)

Re your question on Ocala...at the food court, I always buy a chicken cheesesteak sandwich at Charlies. Delicious with French fries!

It beckons one to sit and relax. A very nice and appropriate pix for the bustle of the Holidays.

So calm there - could spend the whole afternoon there reading my books.

Love the contrast between the natural chaos of the greenery in the background and the streamlined perfection of the bench;)
Thank you so much for your always kind comments and compliments at my place.;))

Wonderful colours, as usually on your photos! I notice your name on the bench, so it's your bench? :-)

This is a fine looking bench in a very interesting setting. The brambles behind it make an amazingly dense background. Very nice shot.

Love the contrast, Ash.

Life is crazy here the day after our American Thanksgiving celebration. I so do NOT want to shop today so - I'm not. Not even online. One of the nice things about retirement is that I can go out whenever I want so I think next week I will go out mid-mornings when everyone else is back at work. Now THAT is holiday shopping at its best. Perhaps I will even find a lovely and inviting bench to take a rest at.

The colours of the bench and varying shades of green bushes go very well, this is well balanced by the greys on the left below. Anyone else would have placed the bench somewhere on the right of the photograph allowing some space in front of the bench; but you decided to compose differently by having the bench on the left. I must say it is a good and bold composition, you seem to have gone off the beaten path.
