Brilliant image!

Is it a tree peony?
I photographed some today, the very first ones of this spring, albeit in shades of pink, without the burgundy streaks of your exquisite blossom.

Spring has roared in like a lion, and temperatures are summery, causing the tulips to blossom all at once and fading faster than I can catch their images. And now the peonies are marching in!

A beautiful way to remind us of the uniqueness and pleasures of each new day.

Pretty flowers to cheer up the day. Soon we'll have spring flowers and blossoms here and I can't wait. Thanks for sharing.

Aaahh - that lovely Ash and the quote too.

If I had a flower like this i would present it to Shashi Tharoor, my favourite politian - Paresh will have a good laugh.
